Thousands of people all over the world
are looking for perfect health and yet so few know how they
can achieve it. It's a fact that everywhere on the planet
people are getting sicker and sicker and suffering from
diseases that didn't even exist a few years ago.
In face of all of this, is it really possible to achieve
Perfect Health? The answer is: while it might not be
possible for everybody to achieve complete “perfect” health,
it's certainly possible for you to improve your health so
it's as “perfect” as it can be.
Since Perfect Health is your birthright, I'll dare to say
that striving to achieve it is a worthwhile goal you can
have.
Here are some of the ways to get you started:
Focus on Your “Weak Links”
Imagine a group of people walking together. They can only go
as fast as the slowest person. No matter how fast the other
people can walk, they will only go just as fast as the
slowest person in the group is able to go.
In the Perfect Health Program, we teach that your health is
limited by your weakest link. What it means is that no
matter how healthy your diet may be, your health will be
limited by the other factors you haven't paid enough
attention to, such as exercise or sleep.
The good thing is that you can improve your health by
focusing on those weak links first, instead of just trying
to improve the one area you've always paid attention to.
It's usually pretty shocking for people to realize that,
because we tend to focus too much on just one aspect of our
health when we try to improve it. For example, one of my
“weak links” has always been exercise. I've never been
really sporty or had any inclination to do much exercise.
But since I've been paying more attention to getting enough
exercise, my health and vitality have improved tremendously.
You can do the same too, and focus on your “weak” areas
more. Here are some of them:
- Diet & nutrition: are you eating a simple, low-fat raw
food diet?
- Exercise: are you following a comprehensive fitness
program?
- Sleep: are you getting enough sleep?
- Relationships: do you have healthy relationships without
“grey” areas?
Know Your “Reasons Why”
Pretty much everybody knows what they should do to at least
be healthier, but very few actually do what's necessary. If
that's the case with you, read on.
Unless you are absolutely clear about why you want Perfect
Health, and unless you have written down those reasons and
review them on a regular basis, chances are that you will
never have the motivation to attain your goals.
If you think, for example, that it would be a good idea to
eat a raw-food diet and exercise on a regular basis, then
you need to list your “reasons why.”
I suggest that you list at least 20 reasons why you should
follow a health program such as exercise combined with a raw
food diet.
Title it “My Reasons For ________”
Then list as many specific benefits as you can think of,
such as:
I want to have more energy to be able to care for my loved
ones, do the things I love and express my creativity.
I want to lose 15 pounds.
I want to have a beautiful skin.
I want to experience freedom from cravings and addictions.
I want to feel peaceful inside
I want to overcome_____________
I want to radiate health & energy
I want to attract the right people into my life.
Once you come up with a complete list, print it out and put
it somewhere where you can see it. Review it on a regular
basis.
Avoid “Knowledge Overload”
People looking for Perfect Health are often confused with
all the contradicting information that's out there in the
health movement. They don't know whom to believe.
Is that your case? If so, I have a piece of advice for you:
stop listening to all these different gurus. Instead, choose
one or two that you really like, and follow their program.
Otherwise what happens is “Knowledge Overload.” With too
many options available, our choice is often “inaction.” You
don't do anything because you don't know who's right or
wrong!
Once you're clear about the path you're on, everything
becomes easier and Perfect Health becomes possible. What you
want is a clear, understandable program that addresses all
aspects of health in a comprehensive way, and one that you
can start applying right away no matter where you live, how
old you are, or how healthy you are.
Perfect Health is your birthright so every step you take
along the way that brings you closer to that goal is part of
a noble endeavor.
